How surf lets the Chevrolet Colorado shine.
With the launch of the 2017 Chevrolet Colorado, our goal was to develop more of a presence in states along the west coast. With every effort to break into the deeply integrated surf culture found in California, we found an opportunity in partnering with the 2016 Revolt Summer Surf Series, a surf competition dedicated to give up-and-coming surfers the opportunity to hit the waves and shine.
The 2017 Chevrolet Colorado comes equipped with all the accessories a surfer might need to travel throughout their day; in fact, it might even serve as the gatekeeper to getting surfers to the waves they crave. Some people love to wax their car, but this target loves to wax their board. That's why we created our own Chevrolet Colorado branded surfboard wax, that were successfully passed out to surfers and friends alike at the month long event.
The collateral was such a success that it was also put back into production for the 2016 National Truck Tour.
